We are all creative! We all find ways to express our thoughts feelings and ideas. When many of the Artists in this curriculum expressed their thoughts and ideas, their friends and family where not very encouraging. They said mean things like "your pictures are silly" or "you cannot paint because you are a girl." Those artist still kept trying even though others were unkind. Today they are famous because they kept trying. They have shown the world new ways to see beauty.
As students and teachers journey through All About Art, they will discover new ways to see and show beauty. We want children to begin their artistic pursuit feeling empowered to create for their own sense of joy rather than the accolades of others.
All About Art is taught on Wednesdays in the 4 year old preschool program and on Tuesdays in the 4 year old childcare program.
With the help of Detective Dave, children will discover the wonderful enjoyment of reading as they hunt for phonetic clues in the world around them.
When we chose the title of World of Wonders for our second level science curriculum, we did not notice its acronym WOW. When we noticed, we were delighted! How perfectly this describes our teaching hopes for children.

The Four Year Old program picks right up where the Three Year Old program finishes off. It is just as dynamic, just as fun and just as enriching. You do not need to have completed 3 Year Old Preschool to enter this program.
